This web site is dedicated to one of the most intellectually stimulating and mind warping films I've ever seen. The movie is Waking Life by Richard Linklater, and is the story of the character Wiley Wiggins and his journey through the realm of reality and dreams. During his journey, he encounters a series of characters who discuss topics ranging all across the scope of human philosophy. The film presents a visual and intellectual onslaught that really must be experienced to be fully appreciated.

As your mind reels from one rapid lecture, the movie continues at an unrelenting pace. In general, the movie is about humanity, and about the reality we live in, as well as the fantasy we create. The nature of dreams is explored, along with the repurcussions they have on our existence.
The film presented such an interesting barrage of ideas that I decided to make note of them, and share it with people I know, hence the web page you see before you!

This site is a collection of links to several discussions or summaries for many of the character dialogues in the movie. In many ways, I felt a hollowness in writing these commentaries, because reading the words on paper cannot convey the same experience as actually seeing the movie, and letting the ideas wash over you. I have chosen to omit one of the last dialogues, with Richard Linklater, for this reason. So please, see the movie if you get the chance! Enjoy!
